August 14th, 2006Do you have a travel blog that you want to share with the world? Do you want more hits, more impressions and more money from your blog? Then you have to promote your blog around the web. There are plenty of ways to get links coming in to your blog:
1. Put your link in your signature on forums you participate at. If the sites are travel related then you should get a steady stream of visitors trickling in everyday.
2. Submit your site to blog directories, this is a great way to get a higher ranking in google searches as well. Here are a few directories you should submit your site to:

3. Start spreading the word to everyone you know and put your link in your messenger name and in your email signature as well. You are sure to spark the interest in many blog lovers!

Just thought you should know that the link directory has trouble picking up some of the recipricol links and the image varification is flakey.
I thought i’d submitted my webisite at the weekend and was in a moderation queue but that wasn’t the case.
So i’ve redone it (usually takes about 5 or 6 attempts with the image code both today and over the weekend) and i’ve had to trick it with a fake location for my recipricol link. It doesn’t seem to like url-rewrite links, only files with an extension (html/php).
aside from that, i’m liking what you’ve done
